a friend of mine called me and said you were broken down on the side of the raod on the 405. hope everything is ok.

This was a flat tire from towing one of the trailers. They all made ti back down to SD.

I didn't take my camera out but there were a lot of people with cameras. VRT should have a bunch of video to edit.

FYI,

The only thing about a photoshoot on a Drift-Day, well, didn't get to really Drift. Yet, the day was a blast and Rookie (Drifted his VRT Built FX) and Ralph (Owner of Tampa 600+ Black G), you killed it for your first time...

this was definitely the most fun i have ever had in my car.

was great seeing brandon again, and meeting new people.
everyone was so supportive and helpful.

...definitely cannot wait for the next one.

 

I really wanted to take that FX for a run around the bank!! That thing was fun even on the skid pad.

 

could probably get nissan to give you one if you had ****...

I would've been totally fine with you or Taka taking it on the bank. I'll bring it out to the next driftday event, I'm sure VRT will be out there. I'll even make sure it's riding on something smaller than 305/35-22s this time.

I haven't seen any of the closer video angles that Mike got but this is from the grandstands by one of the FXers that made it out to the event.

Taka is driving in this clip, don't have any video from Alex driving but he was doing the wide donuts just as well.

 

That is Sick. If it had a roll-cage, we could've entered as a car in Thursday event at Irwin-dale.

We were at Irwin-dale Providing Dirft Rental cars - Mike Bs (Modified Featured 350z) to the Nascar Cup drivers for the DRIFT VS GRIP charity event yesterday and last night.

Fun and Great People.

Note: The NASCAR guys looked like ALL of us beginners at Irwin-dale and only two of the group got it at the end. Only Robby Gordon and Casey Mears got it by the end of the evening. Don't we should feel bad spinning out a time or two.

Alot of fun.

Spoke to Naoki and we are going to plan anotehr Z and G (plus) event.

Thats pretty cool Mikey!! There was SOOOOO much press there, all kinds of pics and video should be showing up all over the place. I am sure you will see me in some of them.. It was kinda cool to have the only non pro drift car chosen for this event!!!
