I'm running the HKS Hipermax RS with the standard 8k front and rear springs. A good compromise for street and track but a little too soft for me even on the stiffest settings. Still getting more body roll than I want so I'm gonna try to get my hands on some 350evo sway bars and/or some stiffer springs. I'd suggest the Stance (12k front, 5k rear, coil over rear shock location) or the Tanabe Sevens (10k or 12k front, 10k or 12k rear, oem rear spring location).

i normally ( for myself ) don't change out spring rates, just choose a coilover setup you want, and order it. use it out of the box. unless you drastically change the weight of your car from stock, the engineers at the coilover company's do alot of r&d to come up with a great setup. i doubt you will improve upon it by guessing.

but once you feel you've gone as far as a set of coilovers can take you, and you know which direction you want to take them, go for it!

i love tein flex coilovers, but i currently have a set of ksports on the car. i have a set of silk roads on one car, tein flexs on another, tein hes, ground controls, ect. ground control makes a great suspension on the m3s, but i have no experience with them on the z. my ksport setup was put on due to availability and a friend who had them, but they leave a bit to be desired. good coilovers, just not great.

that would be my car, it's seems like the perfect setup, ive shared the car with a couple other people and all they talk about is how I have no excuse when I mess up because of how well it drives.
