Steering wheel mod
Im new to drifting, and was wondering what you guys kinda recommend. For drifting, do you guys think having no power steering is benifitial? Some kids I know where saying they like it better in their 240s, but a 350 is alot heavier so idk. Also, after watching alot of drift videos, the drivers steering wheels seem to move alot easyer like less resistance and overall just they seem to be able to go around in circles forever. What I mean is when they turn, their steering wheels appear to spin ALOT more then mine can, and seem to spin with alot more ease. Are there any mods that allow this? Maybe something w/ the steering column or is this just me, and it only looks like they are spinning more and alot easyer.
Thanks,
Dan
(PS. I live in Tampa FL, and would love to know any drifters who would like to maybe go out and help me get better )

I've heard of disonneting ur power steering but all or at least most d1 "see"ars have their power steering on. Their steering wheels move around so muh beause they have the steering gears redued. So they do from lok to lok faster than a normal setup.
Ps, I don't have the letter "see" on my phone so this looks a lil funky

Check the posts on this forum about tie rods and increased steering angle.
I couldn't imagine drifting without power steering. Seeing how easily the fluid overheats, it must be working hard. The less you have to concentrate on working the wheel, the more you can concentrate on all the other stuff IMHO.
What's really funny is that you spelled anorexic properly but misspelled weak, sore, and tried.
