This event will be held at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg Florida on 9/15/07. This will be a PRIVATE practice event, meaning no spectators. We will be enforcing the no spectators rule. Drivers are permitted to bring up to 3 "pit crew" members and each must pay $5 to enter. Registration will cost $120. Click the registration link below or send payments via paypal to payments@driftbasic.com. Credit cards are being accepted. There will be NO REFUNDS (unless otherwise stated) once payment is made. No food or drinks allowed due to the Trops policy. Chad Copeland and Mike Ranlet will be on hand helping and directing.
Course Layout
Tropicana is a huge venue and the course was designed for beginners and advanced drivers alike. Blue= Lineup/Slow Black=Course

Also, forgot to mention, there will be event photography and video of any driver that wants it. High res pictures for free.
Anyone going to this? I'm considering going if a) my car is running, and b) I have enough money after the build. $120 is a bit expensive, but it should be a nice beginner course and plenty of time for passes.
We don't get many chances to have an event right here in the Tampa area, who's going?

I think I want to be apart of this! I have a practice event on Sept 2nd... so this will be another event that I can attend in Sept that will help me even more to getting to the level I desire 
Anyway, looks like a great layout for both the rookies like me and the guys doing it BIG!

Welp... looks like I won't make it. Funny I was halfway joking thinking my car wouldn't be done, but it's still at the shop in Orlando to this day.
