Default VQ35 powered 240sx

so i have been building my 07 drift car over the winter. not done yet, but its really coming along... some people said they wanted some pics of it. here you go:
random unfinished body shot

interior. g35 key mounted in center, 350z gas pedal in stock location, etc...

using oem 350z engine management to retain vtc and dbw(not complete yet)...

engine as it sat in the car as off 2 weeks ago.. plenty of progress since...

like i said, still have plenty of work to do, but its coming along quickly as the upcoming season approaches...

the plan is to get it sorted out NA, with just exhaust (stock manifolds into 2.5 downpipes into 3.5 catback), plenum spacer, intake and rom tune...

after its running like a champ and the chassis is dialed in, i will probably either install a vortec supercharger or a custom twin turbo setup... im not in a rush to boost it yet though...

the clutch pedal wasnt installed in the pic. i have since had a stainless line from the master to the slave made and installed...

i have a super light oem style carbon fiber/fpr hood. after i cut out the frame of the hood around the intake manifold, it fit fine. once i put the plenum spacer in, i had to space ti up 1/2". so no custom hood... at least not anytime soon...
