Help!!! i'm in the middle of the install and I cant get the tie rod off the steering rack. The service manual says that there is a lockplate holding the tie rod, but from what I can see there is only a rubber seal ring on mine. I've tried to remove the tie rod but it wont budge!

 

Damn, just realized I need to hit the gym Got the thing off, I guess mine didn't come with the lock plate
