Arrow Drifting event this Sat , need some advice !

Well guys im participating in the RedBull car park drift event this saturday.
My Z is equiped with all the mods listed in my sig... ( vortech sold btw)
do u recommend any tire setup ?
im most probably goin to use my DD tires. ( 275-40 /18 )
If anyone has any advice pls let me know !

So minus the supercharger what do you have left on the car? Stock VLSD?

VQ Pryde!
I'd recommend narrower of tires if you aren't FI anymore. I usually run a 225-255. The 225 is just really fun and easy to kick around, 255 depending on how grippy the tire may work for you but I actually had trouble keeping a long drift with the last RE050's. Find a secluded area and practice on the 275's as you may have more power then me, just dont show up to the event and not be able to show off what the Z can do.

+1000....THAT REALLY HELPS...

Z eats tires, due to weight, so its best you have more tires mounted on extra wheels ready to go....I started out by buying the old style 03-05 touring wheels off of people for cheap along with other set of used wheels i found on craigslist and stuff.....I know own 18 wheels...

Dont get fustrated and try and enjoy yourself.....

The Z has tons of power stock to drift, its more about control and technique after that...

Z has enough torque and power to drift 265/35-18 Bridgestone RE01Rs no problem...

humm, not really, no LCD in my car....

but anyways,
265s and 275s are very nice to drive on even on a stock z.245s work on the front with that kinda rear setup.

yep, i still have the stock VLSD....
tires are RE 050s ( they suck big time)

i wanted to buy R compound tires but couldn't find them here, i have to ship them from the US. ( i'll be buying the TOYO R 888 pretty soon since im switchin to APS TT )
