Thanks manny, I'm feeling pretty good about it considering that was my third event ever. Haha. We still need to ride together one of these events. You'll be at the next one right? Are you going to do freedom moves in September?

Yea man thanks. I just started this year, may was my first event. Car has cnt racing resonated test pipes, xo2 exhaust with magnaflow resonated x pipe, dgr coilovers with shorter rear springs, and spec twin disk clutch which will probably be changed out this winter, and I have the upgraded slave cylinder from a vendor on here, k&n drop ins and a vlsd.

im going to try to make the event in August but i think i will skip to add couple things to the car and go to Florida see the family. Definitely shooting for Club Loose though, that is a must event i want to attend. Maybe do drift faction the friday before for practice and pick up tires then CL for the weekend.

are you going to come for CL?

yea, im pretty sure im going to go and hopefully have enough money and tires to drive both days. The next drift faction is august 12th and the one after that is is september 23. So there is no drift faction event directly before CL.

^^True just saw the calendar. Crap. I think i will skipp the august event. Cause i will be in florida by then and hopefully have the car ready for September which is my shooting point. I dont want to miss CL that's for sure. I only used 2 sets of tires at CL, the track is not bad on your tires thats for sure.

Wow only 2 sets? Landers told me he went through 3 brand new sets, and i know he didn't get many runs in during the day Saturday.
I went through 2 sets of slightly used tires on Friday and I was far from making the hole event.

Landers was running -2.5 camber on the s13 or maybe a little less or more so. i was running 0. he went through couple used sets as well because i remember. Camber is the key to saving tires. I was running -2.5 in my first dfaction event with tires brand new i made it through my first 5 laps and half then the tire blew on me(dont know if you remember with the black wheels). Now that i got 0 camber with a brand new tire i can make it last the whole event or at least most of it. Now this friday since we were doing in backward course and people were not jumping on it i ate through the tire quick lol. but yeah it all depends how many runs you get and camber set up. That is the way i see it. Either way is always better to have more than not enough tires...but i will be there and i will bring at least 3 sets and at ECB i only used 2 so if you ever happen to run out i will let you get a set. hope you can spin 265/35 lol

I was running negative 6.9 on one side and negative 7 on the other and I only went through a pair of dry rotted crappy used tires with like 25% left and a brand new pair of federals at my last event in New Orleans. About 25 or more runs that day. Only thing I noticed after getting an alignment was an increase in grip, tire wear is about the same at about -3.9 and -3.7. Toe, as always, is a much bigger factor for tire wear from my experience. Driving style, course layout, road surface, temperature, power the car is putting down, and all of that comes into play as well and may have different effects on wear characteristics. I just personally haven't noticed a big difference in wear from camber.
