Default Help: Video Camera Setup for drift

Anyone know a simple video carmera setup for the outside of the car such as the one shown on Tanner's Z.

Just looking for a video camera with a mount to take some video.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

The camera can be any style handheld camera, mini dv, digital, hd... the mounts are just 4" or 6" suction mounts generally.

We have like 4 or 5 of these setups that we use to make all of our dvd's. We use Sony handheld mini dv for these style shots.

Thanks. What do you get the mounts from? Any recommendations on mini dv camcorders?

You can also do one like my DIY - but reverse the mount to extend the bar outside the passenger window! You just have to make the bar longer - of course you would have to drift with the passenger window down.

Here is a video in my car with it mounted with the bar pointed to where the camera is inside the car.

heres my set up, suction cup mount, works great,

https://my350z.com/forum/videos-151/...nt-set-up.html

it can hold up to 60-70 lbs, i've taken it up pretty quick and hit some pretty hard turns with no loss of pressure in the suction cup.

i'll PM you the link to the actual website when i get back to my house. This thing works great, costs about $100.00
