Default Grind101 May 30- Houston Drift Session

-MAY 30TH 2004 @ GULF GREYHOUND PARK-

DailyDrifter.com presents the 1st Grind 101 Drift event for 2004. This year we will be offering a Drift Clinic as well as the usual Grind 101 Drift event.

-GRIND 101-

COST - $30* online, $35* at the gate. Due to overwhelming turnout and not enough track time for participants we sadly have to limit entry to 50 participants so that everyone who pays gets plenty of drift time. If preregistration exceeds 50 people we will not be allowed to hold registration at the gate.

-DRIFT CLINIC-

COST-$100* The drift clinic is a new thing we will be having to help the inexperienced drifter learn and polish the basics of drifting. You will get an instructor to ride and guide you, rides with instructors, and a brief classroom session to explain the basics and answer any questions you may have about drifting techniques. All instructers have been personally approved by Formula D driver of the JIC Magic Mazda RX-8 and DriftDay Instructor, Ryan Hampton.

-RULES-

1) We require a helmet to be worn at all times while on course. Please bring one if possible.

2) We love to destroy tires just as much as you, but once the tread begins to separate or chunk, you will be required to change them. We will try to have used tires at the event. If possible, please bring plenty of spares for yourself. We will try to have used tires but we may run out. We will also have a tire changer able to mount/remove tires for a fee not yet known.

3) Your car must have all lugnuts securely on. If you have a broken/cross-threaded stud change it. If you are missing a lugnut you will not compete.

4) All items that are not part of the vehicle must be removed. Items such as trash, tools, bags, food, tires, kadavors must be removed before your car can pass tech.

5) No use of drugs or alcohol at any DailyDrifter.com events. PERIOD.
