3.9 and 4.08 Final Drive Kits in Stock!
We've got both the 3.9 and 4.08 Final Drive sets in stock for your 350Z!
If you've been looking for a great bang for the buck mod, it gets no better than these new ring and pinions!
4.08 ring and pinion: $600 shipped
4.08 + Install kit 1 (crush collar, pinion seal, pinion nut): $625 shipped
4.08 + Install kit 1 + Install kit 2 (new output shaft bearings, pinion bearings, ring gear bolts, side flange seals (highly recommended for cars with more than 25k milesand/or where you don't want any guesswork involved, ) - $900 shipped
3.9 ring and pinion: $790.00 shipped
3.9 + Install Kit 1 (crush collar, pinion seal, pinion nut): $815 shipped
3.9 + Install Kit 1 + Install kit 2 (new output shaft bearings, pinion bearings, ring gear bolts, side flange seals (highly recommended for cars with more than 25k milesand/or where you don't want any guesswork involved) - $1100 shipped
Pricing is inside the 48 states - for locations outside the 48 states, contact us with your full address
If you need the installation parts separately, we can supply those as well. At a minimum, you need the Install Kit #1 to put either of these into your car If your car has very low miles (under 25k or so), you can probably get away with just the Install Kit #1. If your car has more miles, or you don't want to rely on your installer having to reuse parts Nissan says are use-once (such as ring gear bolts, bearing seals, etc) we would highly recommend you also purchase Install Kit #2. Install kit 2 has has all the bearings/seals, and new ring gear bolts as well, and combined with Kit 1, will give you all brand new hardware, etc for the full pumpkin - it's the best way to go and covers all bases. Each of the install kits is sold separately.
Got a tech question about the gears, please refer to this stickied thread:

Orders can be placed by giving us a call at 631-863-3820
Thanks!

get1 - it's about a 4 hour job to do but requires specialized tools to set the clearances and measure the shim sizes you'll need. I have the 3.9 in my own car....I wish the 4.08 was available at the time, I'd love to have it in my car!
I'll pm you the total today

I inquired with a very reputable local shop about installation of either 3.9 or 4.08 gears. What they told me was that they would advise against it because the tools needed for the install are not very common and Nissan no longer sells them.
