Got Quaife?
We do!
Back in stock after a bit of a backorder!
The Quaife is a terrific diff for those who street/canyon drive their car, and want the benefits of a real LSD (not the crappy viscous unit!), but who don't want anything even remotely "aftermarket" feeling. This diff is smooth and quiet and very linear in its action.
In drag-race style, straight-line acceleration runs, the Quaife gives you close to ideal 50/50 power split to both drive wheels, resulting in essentially twice the grip of an ordinary differential (they don't call open diffs "peglegs" for nothing).
In cornering, while accelerating out of a turn, the Quaife biases power to the outside wheel, reducing inside-wheel spin. This allows the driver to begin accelerating earlier, exiting the corner at a higher speed.
Thanks !

it's a helical diff, so it's gear driven - not adjustable, it's always working until 1 wheel is off the ground, then it behaves as an open diff does. Different method of operation vs a clutch type diff

up top!
Good news for those guys who have a VLSD equipped car - Quaife now has a DROP IN LSD for you! No need to buy output shafts/bearings/seals like in the past. This unit is currently available with a ~ 2 week lead time from the UK
