I installed this mount a couple months ago, and was never really happy with it. The noise was expected, but the shifts were actually worse. They were clunkier and harder to get into gear, and the 1st-2nd shift always made a loud clunking noise. I just uninstalled the mount for the winter, and noticed something that may be the problem. The hole in the Torque Solutions mount is bigger than the OEM mount, allowing the bolt to have a good amount of play inside the metal ring. Did I get a defective mount, or is this how they all are? Here are some pics to better explain what I mean:

OEM mount.
