Default SouthBend stg 5 and ACT flywheel combo. Must go

Hey guys,

I have a stage 5 south bend clutch nd ACT flywheel that must go!. I bought these when I had the Z boosted and put about 2k miles on it ( not even an oil change ) and decided to go a different route.

They are in excellent shape with barely any wear. I bought these new from CZP and spent over 1200. This setup will hold over 800hp.

Price :
Both : $800
SB DXD : $ 500
ACT flywheel : $ 350
Shipping : Id prefer local pick up but I can ship at buyers expense.

here is a pic of the engine. I will take a picture of the clutch when it is out. Engine and transmission have been out but they are still mated.

when I got them

I believe I still have the boxes as well.

PM me if you are interested.

flywheel is just a piece of steel so it shouldn't have a rating. The clutch is what is rated.

which part number is this vas? They have a few types of stage 5 clutches and if this is the big one tom uses (extreme) then i might snag it. you can just text me the part number if you want so i can look it up faster than logging back on here.

Thanks

Yea Im sorry I was thinking of wen I was looking for a new clutch and ended up doin a full ACT with the streetlite fw.. The clutch is rated at 580ft/lbs.. Which isnt gonna be enough for where Im headed...Jus wondering if I should drop serious dollars on a multi disk or do something like this,,,Seeing how this is rated at 800hp looks solid....

Thanks for the correction, I jumped gun!!!

The chatter is not really that bad to be honest. I chose the ACT flywheel because through out my research it was the less noisy one and a lot of people ran them.

I couldn't tell you the difference from OEM because I havent been on an oem clutch in a while. I used to have the RPS before this and I love this clutch/fly combo much better.

The clutch feel is pretty good. It also feels like oem but a bit tighter. I used to have the RPS one and it was night and day difference. it was a rock to press. I liked this overall combo.

I went with a spec clutch but thats for an ls3 and shouldn't compare lol
