That's like we asking you if you pronouce "Zone" Zee-one or "Zoom" Zee-oom. We only use "Zed" when describing the single letter alone. It's like "W", say the letter "W" or "Q"... and see if it sounds the same at the beginning of "wood" or "quiet".

Just because one letter is said diffrently doesn't mean we have to put it on all the other letter. Going back to Q, with your logic, you should say "Q" like "key" instead of "Queue". "M" should be "mee" instead of "mm". You see what I mean?

Ha ha ha..........this thread is funny.
The funny thing for me is, I've lived in Canada my whole life, but if somebody told me their car gets 11 L per 100 km I would have non clue how good that is, or, if you told that the ZED weighs 1500 Kilograms I would say Kilo-whats??
I guess its all those american car programs on TV. Also, isnt it strange that tire rim diameters are measured in standard, and tire width is measured in metric.
