Winnipeg here too.
I have a bad feeling the "beat up red coupe" might be mine LOL, would it be the one with the bullet hole on the side? Just got it out of the paint booth so hopefully its not so beat up any more hah.

Saw a girl driving it on the way back from Grand Beach this summer. Was a bit dented, but didn't see any bullet holes! You driving in the winter?

Shotgun blast? Wow. That is crazy. Yeah, garage parked every night. Winter parked till at least april with layup insurance. Got caught in Transcona when it snowed. Live in St. James. Was an absolute nightmare. Downshift and rear end is everywhere, upshift and break loose on the factory bridgestones. Took me an hour to get home in what is normally a 20 minute blast. I remember it well because the night before I got tapped doing 194kph on the perimeter. No traffic, great conditions, cop hidden away. She was so far back that I wasn't sure I saw lights but I stopped and took the ticket. You know the old saying. Can outrun radio. I was respectful and the ticket is a big one, but a ticket for speeding and I was speeding. My fault.
Just got in from running it for a while, warm it up, and move it in my garage so I don't get flat spots on the tires. Winter seems to be taking longer than it did last year. Same feeling I had when I rode motorbikes.
Have you done anything to yours? How do you like it?

wow that ticket must have hurt! what area on the perimiter so I can avoid it I havent run mine in a while but I'm sure I will this weekend.
I have a few cheapy N/A mods just to tie me over till I boost her. JWT cams, ported the lower plenum my self...so who knows if that did anything, no name headers, cone filter.. thats about it for motor, with no tune it dyno'ed 262whp at Motion performane. Whiteline sway bars and Megan coilovers( I truely do love suspention,I happen to auto-x the car so your probably wondering why I went with such a cheap coilover brand, well its a rebadged Apex N1 ExV coilover and I re-sprung them to 448 Lbs/inch up front, and 560 Lbs/inch rear to help with the understear. 275 kumho Mx's up front and 295 Mx's in the rear.

I really do love the car and hope to have her for a long time, I have a Gt37r at home as well as a tail 44mm wastegate and some other goodies waiting for summer to start building the turbo setup(I hope)

Oh, we have them too. Be glad of the tight steering.
We'll have to hook up track pack. Looking at an ECU reflash to remove the speed limit and tune, and then at an ecu piggyback to give me another 15 hp at the wheels.
