You are right 2TH PWR.
I thought I saw your "alias" there too.
We actually met last summer at the dyno run with CapitalNissan people.
I was there with my little one just hanging around.
I was with some of the guys for a photo shoot last summer but I did not have much time last year. I will try harder this summer.
Pic's are coming as soon as the ZR is out of winter hibernation. I will probably have it ready when I am back from a four weeks trip to Europe.
I have some small cosmetic add ons this year but nothing major.

Mine is a 2005 Touring.
I have worked in the Car Audio business making custom work for people and companies. Right now I am thinking about reworking the center console.
Just have to find the time to do it. I love my I C E and enjoys my music - loud. Rework will also be done to the door panels to make the speaker pods and door panels as one piece.
Anyone need something custom built let me know.

SC350, you'd be a good guy to ask. I didn't get the nav on mine as it is a waste of money. Going to be building a carputer for the Z, going to a touch screen in the cubby. What size will fit properly in there? I will be getting someone to install the screen and wires, which will plug into an XM module that I am getting installed off the factory deck. Doing it this way because I don't need anything louder, like keeping the look factory, and like the way everything works right now. Carputer will have dvd, wireless, music management, gps, etc.

A 7" or maybe a 8" screen will fit.
You can always play around with the installation to make it fit.
Just measure the width inside and then start looking at screen dimensions.
Just go as big as possible, just so that you don't go "I should have gone bigger" later.
So you will use the carputer for your multimedia needs and use the Aux input for the audio through the OEM system?
This is something I have been looking at doing but never got around to it.
Just to piece together the hardware takes too much time.
Good luck!

Going to get the xm module to act as the line in as well for the sound. I figure that a car computer would let me play divx files as well as dvd's, etc. Will mount a power switch next to the heated seats switches as there is a blank there. Already have bluetooth in the car so I will use that, but I want to be able to pull into my garage, sync to my server for music/video files, have streets and trips for navigation, etc. Seems like the best way to do everything.

Smasheer, I did them myself.
I made a 0.8 qft enclosure on each side installed in the place of the glove box and OEM sub.
They are made of MDF/Fiberglass.
Each box bolts in using the original screws and then I made a panel that goes across to finish it off. It looks like this; see attached
If you need info let me know.
I might be redoing them later as I have some new ideas for how I want it to look. It is a bit plain as I did not have the time I needed to do it the way I wanted.

Thanks SC350z
If you have any more pics that you can share of what's behind the frontn panel and the sub box's I would be interested. pm me.
Right now I have 1 custom sub box where the origional sub was hidden behind the stk cover so the whole install looks stock but its far from it.
(I have Hertz as well in the doors, and behind the seats )
I was thinking about adding a second sub and re-doing this with the subs exposed.
