Tech Session - Whitehead Performance - Jan 28th
Greg Whitehead has been servicing Z's for the past 20 years, and he will be opening up his shop, Whitehead Performance, on Saturday, January 28th at 10pm to those interested in learning more about the technical aspects of these great cars. He's looking for feedback on what kind of topics that people would like to see covered. If enough G35/350Z owners show interest, then he will dedicate some time to looking at specific aspects of these models. So, if you'd like to learn about suspension, exhaust, engine, etc modifications, this will be your chance. If you talk with Greg soon, you may be able to bring your car into the shop as the topic of discussion.
As mentioned, Whitehead has been servicing Z's for 20 years, and has been heavily involved with the buildup of numerous race cars and high performance street machines, including an 800HP Audi A6. He is a dedicated supporter and active member in the Ontario Z Car club, and is considered by many to be THE Z Car expert in Eastern Ontario.

Judging by the time of your post, I guess you missed the tech session? My advice is to call Greg up and talk to him (or stop by the shop). He's very easy to get along with and very knowledgeable. He will give you a no-BS assesment of what can be done, and his guys have the experience to back it up.
For those that missed the tech session today, it was a great event. About 40 people showed up. From what I could tell, it was mostly early Z car guys because they tend to be more hands on with their cars (no warranty left on a 30+ year old car
). But there were at least a couple of 350Z guys there, including the new president of the Ontario Z Car Club, Terry Weston. Anyway, it was very generous of Greg to open up his shop for the day, provide food for everyone and have several cars available for display. Greg even let OZC newsletter editor Howie Yoshida do a sway bar swap on his 280ZX in his shop and everybody got to follow the process first hand!
