Default New Guy

Hey people,
I thought I'd introduce myself. I've always thought it would be cool to get to know some fellow 350Z enthusiasts in the area. I'm new to this site. I've spent some time on 350Zmotoring, but am just now exploring the benefits this site has to offer. I'm in Petawawa. I'm a dentist in the army here, hence my name. Here's a few pics of my Z!

Very clean. How low did the Eibach Prokit lower the car? Says on your signature "Rear Wiper Delete Kit"(I took my rear wiper off too) but I see in the photos you still have it on. Are these older pictures? You should slap on a front lip to finish off the look of the Zed.

And here is a couple of shots of my car:

OK, for starters you're a MUCH cooler dentist than the one I've got now.

Nice car and very tasteful mods.

Welcome to the site. If you're interested in pushing your Zed be sure to check out Solo2 at Corel Centre through MCO.ORG.

Here's a pic of my Brickyard 350Z from the Cdn Nationals in Toronto this past August.

Thanks,
The Eibach kit did the perfect job in my view of lowering the car. It ended up being about 1.1 inches front, and 1.2 rear. Aggressive, without being ridiculous. Yes these pics were taken mid-summer before I di a few modifications in the fall before I stored the 350Z. I don't know about a lip? Maybe something subtle. My priorites for this winter are HKS exhaust, APS test pipes, and the motordyne spacer such as yourself. Very nice lemans by the way.

Amazing Brickyard. Im loving it. Thanks for welcome. I am interested in pushing the Z. I'd like to become an amatuer race car driver actually. One of my life long dreams. I was thinking about attending that Bridgestone race academy at MOSPORT this spring. Did you guys/gals hear about the new track being opened up at Calabogie?

Might be some good natured fun to head up there.

I was up there on the Labour Day weekend. Very nice track with quite a few technical sessions. It's a very long track which is sweet. There's a few groups who organise private lapping sessions which is more affordable.

I've done the Jim Russell racing school for Formula 1600 and 2000 at Tremblant, and Skip Barber school at Lime Rock. The Jim Russell was more race car oriented (using racing cars and practicing shifting techniques and lines), and taught you how to drive up to the limit. However, I found the Skip Barber school taught better skills for daily and race driving. They intentionally pushed your car over the limit (bald rear tires, pulling the parking brake, sprinklers on the skip pad, pulling the ABS fuse), and taught you how to drive back into control. Amazing stuff.

You're welcome to come for a ride in the 350z with me next season when Solo2 starts again. It's a great way to get a feel for how the event is run and the rush you can get in the car. There's a convertible 350z who comes out to play as well.
