Engine make tick/knock/rattle noise when cold?
Hi,
New owner of a 06Z, ran some searches and didn't find what I am looking for, so any help will be greatly appreciated!
It gets a bit cold in Ontario lately and I noticed some ticking/knocking/rattling (not sure how to describe) noise coming from the engine area after I started it up. Only happens when the car sits for a long time in cold weather. Sounds fine at idle, noise only comes in when I get it some gas. The car sounds fine after it is warmed up. Is this normal?
Thanks!

In fact, I start to think it might not be the cold weather, but the fact that the car sat for a few days before I start it up. Maybe not enough oil in certain part of the engine? So nobody experience something simliar?
