Default Anyone get stuff from states without paying duty?

Hey guys, any tips on how to avoid paying duty when i get parts shipped from the states??

You'd have to convince anyone you buy from to declare the package as a gift or something with zero value. Only downside is that if there's anything wrong with the shipping of the package, you're basically screwed.

so basically the vendor should declare a really low value?? can they claim it as used parts or warranty items??

Default Duty..

Just a tid-bit on Customs/Duties. If the package is coming from a company then it is not considered a gift by the boys at Customs. Companies do not give gifts! Now if they reduced the value then that is another issue - of course you are out of luck if the item is damaged/lost. They can also claim the parts as 'Warranty Replacement', this seems to work most of the time.
