Hello All,
Just picked up my Z yesterday, what a great car. Thought I would say hi to everyone who knows me from working at JRP for the last 10 years. I am the GM of JRP in Mississauga and have been improving/tunning many Z's in the area via APS TT kits and various HKS, Volk and Greddy parts. I have always loved the car with some boost. I have been deprived for close to a year now as I sold my 680rwhp 94 Supra TT ( 2 kids and a mortgage tend to do strange things to men) I have been lusting over something other then the Oddesey to drive..... took a spin right past the driveway after the commute into the escarpment, man this thing is so much fun to drive, OK the power may not be Supra territory (yet), but it is honestly a better and more refined car from what I remember not driving the Supra for a little while now. Anyway just saying hi, and hopefully be at the meet in May.

I have been surfing the boards for a while just never joined. Lookslike a great group who is very technical and savy. That's my kinda a people. Hopefully learn more.

You know John from Authority Motorsport/B.A.C. Autobody, if so I think hes mentioed you and your Supra, Hes waiting to start to build his, and I remember him refering to your car as this crazy beast. Welcome anyways.

 

Yes I know John very well, super guy. Ya the Supra was the nicest around for Canada I'm sure it was a cover car too. I put alot of effort (and money) into building it. To be honest thought the 350z I have TT's are way more fun the Supra I had made 700 hp and was obviously very fast, but only for a few thousand RPM, like between 6500 and 8000 before that nothing. The 350z though makes 450 ftlbs at 2000 rpm, way more then the Supra ever did and feels so strong. I have been in the business pretty much my whole adult life and know evry shop owner around, and I can tell you Johnruns a good honest business for many years (really hard to find no a days).

 

Ya when I started to deal with him he was up in the air with what car to purchase it went from a 300TT NSX 350Z then when his son was born it to G35 or supra something with a back seat, after he got the supra man the plans he has for that thing is incredible hes nuts really the guy wants 1000whp+ still in TT form he is totally against the single swap. As for honest your right no comes close he if you ever mett his dad you can see where it comes from. You aint in business for 30+ year and doing it wrong.
