the s2k antenna isnt the end all be all for antennas. Infact, there are better fitting ones available. I used an antenna off a Mazda cx-7. It's just as short and the base from it is the exact same size as my stock. The s2k one flares out at the bottom.

the S2000 one sucks as bender said. there are better fitting options that are cheaper.

Lightbulb I just drove...

to a local Honda dealership. I didn't really feel like waiting for it over the net. It was $30 something but whateves...I am happy. It looks great and reception is perfect.

Just my two...

i'm happy with my s2k antenna. reception's not the greatest some times, but still love it. It's not exactly flush with the base, but i still like the overall look of the thing.

I agree, my reception has not changed and I love the look. Check out your local honda dealer ship....

actually, they're exactly the same. After I got my S2K antenna, I compared it with the element one (my neighbour drives an Element), and they're exactly the same looks-wise. I doubt the internals of the antenna are any different.
