Has anyone performed this? I'll try this on comming Tuesday at Willowdale Nissan(I think their A/S is best around town...) Wish me luck~!

 

My father was getting his QX4 serviced at Agincourt the other day and I asked him to ask if there are any "canadian TSB" for the Z yet. They told him nothing. My Dad then said that I had printed a few of the US ones off the internet and they said If I want them to perform the TSB, then just bring in the print out with the part numbers and they will do it no problem. I'm debating what to let them do at my next oil change because I dont like people trying things out for the first time on my car. Anyway, good luck and let me know how it goes.

 

I want all you people to trust your Zs to the inexperienced grease monkeys at Nissan dealerships to rectify a problem they don't even have a CDN TSB on.

After the 38th screw up, they will finally get it right. Only then I will roll my Z in the dealership to get the window grease streak fixed up. I have a funny feeling that they would still screw up and the door panel will rattle and fall off before I make it out of the dealership's parking lot.

 

Hey guys just a quick update on the Window Grease Fix, my dealer called today, there is a Canadain TSB and they have ordered the parts, also there is a TSB on the sound system I talked to Bose Canada today the Canadian Rep. said he was not aware of any issues with the system, told me to call the States, left a message I will wait and see if they call.

Careful with the Bose TSB...many are reporting NO bass or controll of bass/trebble after the amp. replacement. I e-mailed Bose in the States and they said they were aware of the problem and will e-mail me back when they feel they have a satisfactory fix.

 

Thanks, I will watch out for the Bose fix. I might wait until more information from bose is out there.

canadian350Z had the TSB amp installed if I'm not mistaken, so at the next meet you could listen to his before making a decission. I'm going to wait, but I will post as soon as I hear from Bose..whenever that will be.

The dealer called on Friday and said it will be about 2 weeks
before the parts are in for the windows not sure about the amp.
Hope we can have a meet in june, if you are talking to any of the group let them know that if anyone is interested I will arrange something out here in june, lunch a cruise or mini show, something like that. Anyway thanks again hope to see everyone in june.

My dealer fixed the window problem on Friday. Did a great job.
Problem gone. Still no parts to replace the amp yet.

Craig having my Amp replaced do you need a replacement?

 

My dealer is still waiting for the parts, but now I am thinking about putting a new system in the car. Not sure what to do.
