Nice areas? Areas to stay away from?

don't really have a budget set right now...so I'll say maybe $1500 a month.

I was thinking about Richmond Hill because a lot of my family members live there...

I used to live in Scarborough a longgggggg time ago when it wasn't 'ghetto' lol..

Hey,

You will def want to stay in or around Richmond Hill, Markham both nice areas which are also modded car friendly. (meaning decent/well maintained roads with no viscious speed bumps or potholes, like downtown)

Here are some sights you can check..
http://www.mls.ca/map.aspx?AreaID=3476
http://www.viewit.ca/vwgta.aspx

If you find anything nice, let us know and I am sure someone local would be able to take a look at it for you.
Also were you looking to rent a house or condo?

Cheers,
Church

hey Church, thanks for the reply man. I'll definitely check out those 2 sites. I've been looking at craigslist.

I'm looking for an apartment/condo but with a garage for the Z.

my friend just rented a condo with 2 bedrooms and such for 1600 near Richmond Hill area. 1500 is really a high budget for 1 bedroom so you probably wont have any issues whatsoever. I would stay away from scarbourgh with your Z if i were you. Im willing to bet your car wont last 2 months there. haha

other areas that you would want to look into includes the bayview sheppard area or maybe even yonge & finch area. They're both on the subway line, so if you need to travel downtown, you have the option of taking the subway.

wow thanks for all the info guys. That gives me quite a direction to start. I've been looking through a lot of listings, and the rent in Toronto is sooooo much cheaper than here in Norcal. About half the price for something of equal quality/size here.

I'll definitely keep you guys in the loop, and we need to cruise!

In Canada with Cheveron Supreme Plus (94 octane), with a bit more race mix, I could run high boost (760rwhp) all day

speaking of which...any decent shops around?

cruise, yes, and it's key to get a damn photoshoot with the beast.

also, it is out of RH & markham, but look into mississauga/brampton. right now in my area they have alot of semi-detached homes going for cheap, as there is a HUGE area of new development going on. just a thought.

Actually, for a budget of about $1500 and under, NitrousZ could probably get rent a very nice home in RH... I know because that was my plan at first, then I just decided to purchase.
