My 3rd post in the first 10 minutes of joining the forum, but I'm a happy new Z owner... so what can I say? I'm ecstatic

Anyway, my question:

Any one in Toronto interested in a group buy for the 3M clear bra? I know a place in Thornhill that is charging about 230 for the fenders and hood, and about 500 for the same package but with the bumper as well. If we can get enough people, I'm sure they'll knock off a few bucks more.

If you're interested, please reply to this thread and I'll call the place back and find out a group-price for us!

So far we've got 2 ppl on board (wow what a turnout lol). The price I've got quoted so far from a local chipguard installer is 225 plus tax; which IMO is a GREAT deal.

I've yet to ask about a group buy (I'd feel embarassed asking for a group buy with 2 ppl), but I'm sure we can get that price down even lower if we have at least 5!

 

I'm from Van. BC and I’m trying to find this product out here. No luck yet, but if you could put me in touch with the dealer in Ontario, I'd much appreciate it.

I'd be interested in the group buy, if they'd concider us way out here on the cost as participants.

You can get one in Seattle from RockBlocker.com installed for $400.00 for the full kit. You can drive down maybe work in a group install weekend up there.

 

Ok I just installed the 3M clear bra today. The installer I went to was the chipguard guy I mentioned before. Since we couldn't get enough people for a group buy, i just went ahead and got it done

Anyway all I have to say is that it's a great product. The guy who installed it for me (Mark) was really nice and explained every step of the process. It's nearly invisible under most lighting conditions, and no bubbles, specks, or "uneveness" to speak of.

I only got the hood and fenders done, but if you guys want to check out the installed product on my car, you can during the next meet. I'm still thinking about getting the bumpers and headlights done; so if there's interest (more than 2 ) I'll ask Mark about a group buy.

I won't be able to make it the meet on the 14th unfortunately... i've got to go to my convocation in Waterloo... would've wanted to tho... maybe we can set up another meet in July for our pseudo Toronto 350z "club"
