Police around Scarborough pulling cars that "look" modified.
I got pulled over near Fairview mall (don mills and sheppard). I made a left turn and as soon as i made the turn a jeep that said environmental police pulled me over and checked under my hood and under my vehicle for any modification. Sadly they caught me having no catalic converter, wrote me a ticket for $375 and told me to install it and fax him the receipt of purchase.
You guys be carefull. I was not in my 350z, i was in my brother's MX6.

dang, do they even have the right to make you pop the hood? Don't they need like reasonable cause or something?

 

****! I was just in scarborough like half hour ago! I've never heard of environmental police though wtf?

 

in a way, it's not surprising. it's end of summer (so time for another blitz) and it's the end of the month. so whether cops admit to it or not, i'm fairly certain they have a quota-type system for handing out tickets. this just means being a bit more careful on the road and i'll be removing my ricer decals asap

 

School starts next week as well be extreamly carefull, I already saw them in a school zone this morning.
