Well today I was able to cure my itch on weather or not my car is equip with a LSD. Today i replaced all fluids in my car to full syn, and when i made it to the rear end i seen that it wasn’t going to be a simple task to just simply pull the diff pan off and inspect the carrier. So i was hopping that i might be able to see something threw the drain hole but that wasn’t going to happen, so my last attempt was to simply jack up the rear end so the rear tires were off of the ground, then grab a hold of the drive shaft with one hand and turn one wheel forward. when i did this the opposite rear wheel rotated the same direction (forward) If my car didn’t have a LSD the opposite wheel would turn the opposite way and i know this for a fact. Iv owned many cars and trucks with simple standard rear ends and they all did the same my last statement, I don’t know why I went this far but I just needed to figure this out on my own. I have left some pictures to show you the condition of the fluid, my car had 27k and this is probley the first time its been flushed.

BTW this was a extreamly simple task, and only takes a few moments out of your life, and all you need is a 10mm allen key, and 2L of your preferd fluid, you dont even need any hoes, or any pumps to drop the new diff oil in..

How did you put it in then?? Does that make sense..

 

what the diff oil? i used the bottle it came in most diff bottles come in the shape of a beer bottle and it goesright into the fill hole, when it gets to the halk way point of the bottle i simple squeezed the bottle like you would crush a pop can and then slid it up more on a angle so the rest would run out, im not sure if that makes much sence? but it works
there is room between the diff and the rear alum structual member to tip it upwards enough to empty the bottle
