What i hate about insurance police is that your demerit point isnt worth anything. You have like 15 points as a G licence driver? and by the time u lose 3-6 points, its the insurance that is keeping you off the road and not your licence. What's the point of having 15 points on your licence if you cant afford to make any mistakes?

2THPWR - Great, thanks! fyi, I've rarely speed that much every since getting that 70 over ticket. A blast every once a while from stoplight on some 80km/h zone street works for me.

Mikhe - Very true, seems that if you have a 50km/h over ticket, or careless, or dangerous driving, they stop insurance.

hey dave try this broker i m using right now. i was put in the facilities insurance company for a while but she had taken great care of me in the pass. i even ask her to find me an insurance company that can holds up to 2 speeding tickets when i got my z.then she quoted me 2400 a year full coverage, eventhough i got 2 tickets i only have to pay 2800/yr

i started with a 5km over and a 3pts pending following too close. i got rid of the 3pts crap and only left with this 5km. my insurance has gone down to 2300/yr

it was a 20 over and brought down to 5, and the cop actually wrote down "70km in 50km zone, charge for 5km over"

That's not any major convictions... We'll see. I'll be compiling a list of insurance companies that are high-risks and calling them this week.
