Default Just wondering..

If anyone has Super Black driver's side door (dont need interior piece or window glass or motor, just the metal door itself) and hatch for sale?

How much would it be from the stealership?

david, have you considered taking it to a dent doctor of some sort? it's probably the more economical route.

you'd be surprised what those guys (dent doctors) can do. i know a really good place in kingston, but none in toronto unfortunately :S

the only other option is to go parts hunting at a wrecker in the hopes of finding a super black crashed z that has the driver side door intact which may take some time.

and buying it from a stealership? you might as well walk in, bend over and get ready to be fisted i don't even want to know how much it'd cost for them to source you a door

unless paint came off the door, they might still be able to fix it...for cheap too. You should definitely get them to take a look before go hunting for door panels.

btw, Rich's car door is NEVER locked

David,

Drop by dent doctor
http://www.dentdoctorcanada.com/locations.asp

At the very least, they will be able to tell whether or not it is fixable.

Good luck

Rich, i've never seen a wrecker with a car newer than 95...

Jay, the paint came off, minor but the dents inside dents :S.

Church, thanks for the link. I'll check it out and see if it's fixable.

Blaukal, thanks for that, but that's US dollars. Not to mention shipping, duties, and paint...

Ottawa Nissan hooked me up with a great dent repair place when some old *** blind noob driver door dinged me by accident. And by accident I mean on purpose since I always park as far as possible from anything.

Update:
Went to Dent Doctor today.
They said it's unrepairable because the dent on the door was right on the side impact beam and folded the metal as well as cracked the paint.
Hatch is also unrepairable because it was dented right on the edge, where the support seams are...

Any suggestions?
