CDN insurance rates
Are you guys satisfied with your insurance payments? is it too personal to ask what you guys are paying and what company you're with.
I'm shopping around insurance companies at the moment, after I found out State Farm quoted me $2100 for the year.
After a few quick internet quotes, TD Meloche Monnex (which my friend uses) quoted me $1170 / 97.50 monthly which seems pretty damn good. I'll be 29 in March with a perfect driving record which I'm sure makes a difference.
Just thought I'd get some insight.

hey doba,
I am with state farm and feel quite satisfied.
The monnex quote you posted is very competitive, but I would highly recommend you calling them in person to see if that quote is valid.
Question:
The TD (meloche monnex)quote was that for the 6 month renewal or a full years price?.. If its for a year, then its an absolute bargain for full coverage.
I am 32, perfect driving record and thats less then what I am paying with a multiline discount.
Keep us posted! If that monnex quote is for real, I just may end up switching.
Cheers,
Church

I just tried a couple online quotes and got quotes like $3000+ for my 92 civic. I don't know what's up with that. I even put down 0 tickets and accidents. I guess being under 25 screws me for no apparent reason.

That Quote was for the whole year I know its hard to believe thats why I will personally call them in the near future, which they specify to do in the quoted email they send you.
I've been with state farm for 9 yrs (240sx), but my family has been with them for over 20 yrs but when I received that quote for 2100 I thought it would be best to shop around.
I'll keep in touch.

I'm paying state farm around $2600/yr with a $500 deduc....i'm 27 right now...i should have a clean record with State Farm, as the tickets I recall having are from at least 5 years ago. It's a single car thing as well.
i technically pay a little less, since i suspend the insurance during the winter months. so I end up saving around $800-900 off that (3-4 months)

PC auto insurance
PC auto insurance cant be beat bottom line, as auto insurance is reflective to current driving record you cant compare apples and oranges one guys quote will be different from another, you can only compare your quotes from different companies for your driving record, i was with meloche monex and when i switched to pc i reduced savings of about 35% went from 290 to 170 phone pc you wont be disapointed

First we have the impact statement.
"PC auto insurance cant be beat bottom line"
Then we have the justification
"i was with meloche monex and when i switched to pc i reduced savings of about 35%"
Then he seals the deal with the confirmation statement!
"phone pc you wont be disapointed"
Boo yah! I'm there PC. Oh wait, I forgot no one will take me because my Z is modified!
