1959 Chevy Impala. Modded it by using air freshener to remove cigar smell, and painted it beige with house paint and a roller. My first automotive paint job, and unfortunately, not my last. BTW, I paid $50 for the car.

1. Ford Crown Victoria LTD (mobydick whitetrash), wrecked it trying to powerslide and ran into a ditch
2. Subaru GL10, wrecked it jumping across a road
3. Pontiac TransAM RAM Air, wrecked it downtown being an *** and burning out ran down a set of stairs and rails
4. Audi S4, busted the tranny dropping it from neutral to drive while revving
5. Dodge Viper, too scared to wreck it
6. Nissan 350Z, soon to be street ready

ohh and on my 4th Jeep Cherokee (have 2 currently) all have been abused big time.

I know it was for first car but just a funny string of breaking cars I had to post it up. don't ever buy a used car from me

Great Thread, Smasher.
My first car was a 1970 Austin America. Painted British Racing green with a roller by the person who owned it before I did. I was 15 and got it for $400. My mod was to hook up two extra horns out of a Chrysler New Yorker into it.
Second car was a 72 bug. Really big mod - a Thunderbird Header/exhaust. That was a dependable beast.
Both of those were long ago.

It was my first and only moded car until I got my Z last spring. (it's been a long wait to spend money on a modded car so this year was catch up time).

When I got the Pinto it was white, with orange vinyl roof and auto. (yuk) I worked at a Stereo shop and put in a bad *** stereo for the time with EQ, custom dash moded in fibre glass with oil, temp, and another gauge I can't remember right now. The Auto had to go so in went a 4 speed with a cool wooded shift **** haha. Centre dash mounted skull with green lights that went on with the turn signals and yup fuzzy dice LOL. Lots and Lots and Lots of bondo and some sheet metal becuase these cars rusted like crazy! Painted in a metalic brown with a square and arrow thing on the hood. It had Orange vinly interior, guess that's why I like the burnt orange seats in my Z.
My Dad helped me do all the work in our garage.

I thought it was so cool. Sometimes I raced a buddy's VW rabbit on the back roads. Ohh we were so fast with a top speed about 95mph. The car got rear ended latter and pushed into another car while on a date. We were fine but there was bondo everywhere. That was the end of her.
Hey Dave! How are things these days.
My first car was this beautiful 2003 350Z. I bought it in the summer of 2004 at the age of 24 as an early graduation present to myself!

Well in all fairness I waited until I was 24. Not like I was 16, I already had a real job contract by that age.

Hi All, Thanks for sharing and keep it going.

Things are ok but I ran into some money problems and am doing what I can to hold on to my car. Just a big bump in the road of life I guess.

My second car was a Datsun 310 hatchback, I wanted to get cool Rims and tires but bought an engagement ring instead and the guy who had special ordered the rims was out looking for me. My third was a Nissan Pulsar. I wanted a Z so bad and kept lots of magazines with Z cars in them, (Road and Track, Car and driver) until my wife finally got me to throw them all out.

It's going to be a long winter.

You might have to sell car Dave? But you put so much work into it this year?
