All I do is wash it, fill it up wid gas and some stabil, disconnect battery, check tire pressure, cover. I store it in a heated facility, and havent had any problems.
If I were to store it in ambient temp storage I would increase the tire pressure to it's maximum amount.

mines on a lift in the garage. its warmer than the outside, but still gets cold. so I jack the psi up on the stockers.

So I'm driving to work this morning, and whats this? My exhaust decides to separate from the catalytic converter. Now my car is shitty, and LOUD!

Putting your car on stands all winter is bad news I hear. I was going to do it myself, but after doing research found it can be bad for the suspension. I dunno if that is your intention, but you mentioned puttin the car on stands in a previous post.

And there I thought I was doing a good thing! I pulled the car down today and will just let it sit on the summer tires.
What about occasionally starting the car and bringing it up to normal operating temperature? What's the consensus there? Good idea? Waste of time? Harmful?
Learning every day around here.
(Did the wiper delete after I dropped it today. Will weigh the assembly at my shop tomorrow and post a specific weight, in grams, of the motor, arm, bolts, etc.)

Starting the engine periodically is also bad. The car needs to experience 15min of driving before reaching temp, and if it doesnt condensation can cause rust. That might not be the only reason but I read that it was bad also.

I suggest the following:
1. Over inflate your tires to 40-42 PSI
2. Place car in gear and leave emergency brake off. Use tire blocks.
3. Fill up your gas tank
4. Remove your battery or use a battery tender.
5. Don't start your car! If you have to start it be sure to run it for 15-20 minutes - best to give it a run on the highway.

5. Don't start your car! If you have to start it be sure to run it for 15-20 minutes - best to give it a run on the highway.

if you have some spare wood planks around, driving the car up onto those would be better for the tires as well (softer than concrete). Or better yet, if you have your stock rims with worn out tires sitting around, use those instead haha.
I used a battery tender for 7 years and didn't have an issue with the battery.
I didn't start my car in the winter.
If you can, do an oil change before you store your car. dirty oil might leave some deposits here and there if given months to sit and do nothing.

Thought I'd chime in on winterization, as I do some other things as well before putting the Z to sleep:
- Tires: I overinflate the tires, and park the car on a strips of old carpet. I heard this insulates your tires from the temperature swings of sitting on concrete. This is a decent alternative to wood or foam blocks.
- Pipes: I stuff the muffler tips with a hunk of steel wool, to keep out any pests from crawling into your exhaust and dying. (This is probably overkill)
- Interior: If you use any product to wipe down the seats, console etc, make sure you give it enough time to dry off before you store the car otherwise there's some risk of mildew. I usually leave a dish full of baking soda on the passenger side footwell just in case. (Also probably overkill).

what mods are these.
p.s i gave up modding the 350z only thing left to do to it is nismo fender flares and bride seat. so i went and baught a POS s13 chassis and am currently building that into a drift track only car. gonna be sandblasting the **** out of it saturday

haha ya man i pulled the trigger i wanted to track so bad but didnt wanna bust up the garage queen. (my z) so did this, have a few pics on fb and i keep posting on there updates but its going slow right now just saving money and doing bodywork. the fun stuff will come soon im getting a motor pretty soon
