Hey guys where is the best place in southern ontario to purchase an aftermarket rear bumper? Or is it better to have it shipped? Previous owner attempted bumper tuck, failed miserably then it looks like they superglued a knockoff veilside rear lip onto it. If anyone has anything used in silverstone they're selling let me know.

Post a WTB thread in the EC section. The best option may be to buy from a vendor on the site and have it shipped to Buffalo. Be very careful as many of the replica's have poor fitment. Perhaps start with choosing what style rear bumper you want to go with.

Goodluck!

Looking at amuse or chargespeed. Unless I can find a good deal on oem then I might just get a diffuser. I'd get it shipped to buffalo but then I'd have to pay duty.

you can always try hitting up nextmod or speedstar for some price quotes if you're looking for authentic amuse/chargespeed pieces.

Yes! MY Nismo 380RS pedal arrived!
I will be heel toein' the shiz out of everything.

I have even been heel toeing my wife's CVT Murano.

( while braking I pretend the dead pedal is a clutch, and while smoothly braking I insignificantly tap the gas with my heel = Awesome)

On a side note, they are actually very comfortable shoes. Going to buy a pair for racing I think.

sweeet.

My rev matching needs serious work so trying to get in some work over the off season.

Also the effort to pound ratio on this weight reduction is sky rocketing. Gonna go weigh what I stripped tonight. Mostly carpeting and foam.

12.2 pounds today. Mostly front carpet with underlying foam. Some trim and metal from the back I was able to unbolt. 2 hours effort.

= 204 pounds total weight loss
= 158 pounds competition weight loss.

Still have to get speakers out of doors with the dyamatting. Some wiring from the car, and what will be the biggest PITA of all the sound deadening tar.

The tar sucks. Really bad. I post a picture of my current progress today. The rear isn't so bad, it came out pretty easily, I would say maybe 3hours of work back there.

The front, ugh. I would say 10hrs of work, maybe 20.

But its worth it in the end. The rear filled a good shopping bag and the front has just as much. Probably 20-30lbs over all. Plus it cleans it up, but you will need to wirewheel/paint it to make it look like it was never there.

And yes the return on work quickly drops. 16 ounces is a lb!

What are your thoughts on using a light duty air chisel, then wire wheel, then spray paint from canadian tire?

A chisel would do well, where it fits. A few places are really tough to get at. I have been using a drill with a large bit lately to chip away at it.

You will find there are 2 types of tar in the car. 1 type is sort of stuck on with its own stick, so it comes off in huge chunks with a scraper. The back is like this, I did the whole trunk in about 2hours.

The front has a lot of **** that is glued on. This is like glue on glue. You won't scrape this off easy. It sucks.

Honestly a lot of guys don't even bother with the tar. I've seen a few fully gutted Zs that leave it in. IMO, its weight and nothing gets a free ride. And its free to take out, just time and a sore back. Heck I took out just the wiring for the seat heaters and it was over 1kg.

yeah the wiring concerns me.... it's still mostly in. I'm unsure of where to begin to strip it all.

I used those RBF 660 fluid when I had my 350z HR engine with that factory mushy clutch pedal

you will need to bleed your brake a little more often that using the RbF600
