Im curious what happened with your ABS. Maybe the heat ****ed the sensor up? Next time it rains you should check that it works at all.
My ABS comes on in T3 of all places, and if I brake over the rumbles in the chicane. I've never had to brake hard enough (yet) into t1 or 2 in the dry. Maybe if I come into T1 too hot and have to correct it might try to slide/come on.
In the wet its like every damn turn. It would be a nightmare to drive that track without abs in the rain.

I'll be doing endlinks, sway bar settings, oil change, cyl 4 spark plug change, tire change to try and get car ready for next weekend.
I have a feeling it won't survive the beating it's about to receive
lol.

It was great but I was nervous and slow. I need a lot more seat time. Frank (nissannx) was my coach and he is awesome talking the whole time on
what lines to take , when to break and lift etc..
I am still smiling.

Well maybe not in your car. Too much $$$ invested.
You need a car you can be confident you can beat up.

Glad to hear you got on the big track with frank. He hasn't been running this weekend with us due to a top end issue.
My car is holding well. First time out with new rs3s are not the best, today they are much better. About 2 seconds faster than last year (1min track) but not quite was hoping. Won my class yesterday by .02 seconds! Too close lol. Today we Are running no kink and man its fun. Blast over a crest and down a huge hill at 160ish into a tight turn. Brakes are running HOT!

Nice running with you yesterday, Smasher.
Killer car you've got yourself there! More seat time is the answer to your nerves... But 2TH is right: It gets addictive quickly! Lucky you got to drive with Frank - that dude must be a fountain of knowledge.
I had a good instructor, but he was a little too conservative for me. He really didn't want me to test the limits on brake points or anything. The guys I drove with last September were much more inclined to bring me closer to the limits. But I still learned a lot and made some better lap times - although I forgot the mount for my new Contour camera so no vids are available. D'oh!
I'll sort through my timing data to determine my best time.
The RS3s were great - it was my first time on them. I could get on the gas much earlier on corner exits. More seat time is definitely needed to learn to exploit them more fully.
