No part of the tires may come into contact with the vehicle, no part of the vehicle can touch the ground and the front wheels cannot be visibly out of alignment.
well damn... the alignment specs for the front of a Z are pretty broad... my wheels are within spec but ALOT of people tell me, "wow, you need a front alignment."

Seems like they have made the connection Modified vehicle = racing.
If they knew how much money we spend on our hobby I think they would realize that the nice looking modified vehicles are not the ones racing. It is the people with no brains and a cheap *** car that will go racing to blow off some steam. You don't need a modified car to race, just the wrong driver.

If they want to give us tickets for whatever, please can they at least release a document with some precise numbers as for what is actually illegal. The HTA doesn't give numbers so it is wide open for personal opinion and how to interpret the text. And we all know that will always be in the Cop's best interest.

LEAVE US ALONE and let us enjoy our work!

if you click on the MODS section in my link above, there's a list of some common illegal mods.

I'm using Firefox and then the pop-ups doesn't work, tried Win Explorer and then I get something. It still doesn't give numbers, just "excessive noise" etc. So this is very much up for interpretation of the law.

excessive noise is an example of a ticket that is discretionary. so it's pretty much up to the officer to decide if it's too loud or not.
