know. I got them on my digi cam here but I don't think we brought up a way to transfer to the laptop.

Going to ask my fiancé’s father when he gets in...

Still impatiently waiting for my house financing to go through. God I hate ineptitude. A harshly worded threatening email goes out at 11am.

Then I have to start dealing with Velocity. Argh

are you going to demand new parts or going to settle with re-finish/repainting?

if you're going to go that route, make sure you document every correspondence, phone call, email, etc. i'm guessing you're going to go to small claims and sue for negligence of some kind?

i tried ... didn't fall asleep till around 1:30, then slept from 1:30 to around 4:30. woke back up and watched some ****, then back to sleep till 730

i'm usually up till 3 or 4 on a regular nite, so this is definitely a different schedule sleeping so EARLY.

I just read through the Velocity thread, sorry to hear about that Mike. I guess there's a lot of places that seem good, until they screw up and aren't willing to correct the mistake because it will interfere with their profits.

physiologically i have no problem falling asleep or sleeping, i just have problems with not wanting to sleep b'cuz of videos games, movies or whatever i'm doing late at nite. so unless your doctor is a psychiatrist who can pinpoint psychologically why i don't want to sleep early, than it's not going to work

the way i see it, some shops may get lazy with quality when they have a steady stream of clients and referrals or get so busy that they start cutting corners and don't put the same attention to detail they did when they had a small client base.

ideally a great shop will always treat you like #1 (regardless of whether they're new or old), but experience has taught me that EVERY shop out there has both people who swear by them (had great experience in the past) and at the same time people who got screwed (in the case of mike).

I love how I get mercilessly screwed every single time though. It's incredible. My list of stories with the 350Z is endless.

maybe you're "too nice" or give off a nice guy persona which allows people to take advantage of you

Why would they want to take advantage of that person? Everyone should give off that persona. People just don't take pride in their work anymore.
