I washed and waxed my parents CTS before.. came out great, very dark black .. lasted like that for a bit, sure .. but now, its no where near that... i take it to a car wash it still doesnt look nothing like when I waxed the **** out of her..

dude. waxing makes an enormous difference. HUGE!
After 3 years, compare a car that's been detailed regularly to a car that's just been handwashed every couple of weeks vs a car that was mechanically washed only. The difference is just stark.
My car is almost 6 years old.

yeah I loved that red before you remember that.. i was gonna be the first redline at the meets.. but then i saw it in person and was like "ehh" not really the red I hoped for.. BUT.. two days ago I saw one and DAMN it looked sharp, in good light but the reflection, and depth of the color was just right.. I really liked it again
