The Useless East Canada thread!
At least 5, S2000 and some very good drivers. Most of them had me in the corners I was not ready to push the car anywhere near what it good do pluss most of them were on R1's
My car could pull an them pretty good down the strech but I still backed off getting into the corners earlier than some of the more experieneced drivers thus slowing my apex and speed out.
A nice race RSX honda and turbo RX7 both on R1 tires where really fast. They could both keep up to me in the stretch but i have to admit I let off roughly on the 3/4 mark just because it felt pretty darn fast hitting aro 95MPH on this short track.
Oh ya 'm not ready for the big track, Ya I'm wimping out on that part. At mosport big track theye were having a Porsche weekend and I heard one guy got flown out and another rolled. Too fast for me just yet.
The best thing is to drive at your own pace. I like to follow the experienced guys to get the line and then yahooo slowly increase your speed and you get to know the car and track.

I went kart racing in Gatineau this weekend. We rented the track. I obliterated them! It's pretty cool because it keeps all your stats such as top speed acheived and best laps etc. We did a 70 lap GP which was preceded by a 10 lap qualifying round. I took the pole position, the GP, the top speed record, and the fastest lap record. Yeah 350Z drivers represent!

We should organize a 350Z meet at the Mini Indy Toronto. Just looked it up. Same 9 hp karts. We could do a group race. It might pay off to pay a little more and keep the newbs off the course. When we were doing our 70 lap GP these 4 douches who were so &*(* slow and retarded kept getting in our way for about 15 - 20 laps.
