Today was scary ****ed up.

I was driving my cousin home on woodbine going 80km/h on a 70km/h zone. Dum dee dum, just cruising... then the pavement surface material changes, BAM tail comes loose and I'm sliding sideways at 80km/h. Tried to correct it, nope, no use. Stupid MR cars.

Sliding sliding sliding and...

around 200 meters later

I'm heading towards a center traffic island andddd

it snaps backwards, then forward and came to a stop andddd causing a huge traffic jam.

I was lucky I did not hit anything. I stopped right between the center island and a YRT bus, blocking both lane of the traffic.

Started back the engine and started rolling again, only to peel out all the way to 3rd on very light throttle.

I go home and look at my tires. It's bald to the metal treads... Then I remember I had rotated the tires earlier... The front has full treads and the rear is bald to metal.

Oh yeah, front tires dies on my car REALLY quickly.

I feel lucky today... But then again I don't believe in luck

stupid MR. I need to go back to FR. Never had something this crazy with the Z...

Yeah, glad to hear you made it out unscathed. Hows the alignment on the front?

That's pretty crazy... But then again, I've never even driven an MR car. I've heard they can be a handful, even in situations where you're not doing anything "bad" if there's a surface change. I read not too long ago about a guy writing off an NSX on the first day of having it, due to a puddle in the road on a leisurely drive.
