The vq burns pretty rich in stock form, so the black smoke is most likely unburnt fuel coming from the stock cats..

Time for some HFC's mike!

Are you filling up with Sunoco gold?

As for the loan thing, Doba, don't listen to him. I got my car on a loan, it's a bad idea. Don't be a slave to the material. Only buy things if you can buy them cash. I love my car, but I deeply regret taking out the loan to buy it. Don't make the same mistake as me.

Oh yea, I just got the most ballar b-day gift evar.
The HP LP2275w monitor. This thing is like the GTR or Z06 of monitors. It is probably the first time a professional grade monitor was available for a price that the general public could afford. It's a bit pricey compared to a regular 22" at $450 (average 22" is like 300, with some cheapos going for 199), but it is beyond awesome.
I'll throw some specs at you
It's a PVA display, none of that ghetto TN garbage, 178 degree viewing angle, 6ms gray to gray response, 1680x1050 native resolution, and a whopping 92% colour gamut. This screen is good enough for professional photo retouching, although I'm sure they would re-calibrate it still, instead of using factory calibration, but 92% colour gamut guaranteed from the factory is good enough for me. If I ever get greedy down the road, I may plop down some cash and buy a colorimeter and do a professional calibration on it, but I doubt it'll be soon.
Regardless, I'm trippin ***** right now, can't wait for Puro to come to my house and give me it

Your not working today?
No,
my office closes the friday before every long weekend. Good thing too. I'm getting tired from all this real work. Making MUCH more cainage though, so that is motivating.

Headed back up to Petawawa later to get the rest of my stuff and my second car. Just found a nail in one of my tires. Has a slow leak. Will need to buy a new one. Guess I should order online somewhere.

But I have to run, as the guys who are installing my home theatre will be at my place soon.
GOOOOD TIMES!

well if its black smoke its a fuel problem, cleaning injectors wont hurt, if you say the vq runs rich stock then first you have to distinguish if the smoke is any darker than it was before. like you said could be clogged up cats.

Eeh, I'm moving up from a 19", and it was a b-day gift, so I wasn't the one paying for it. Can't exactly ask for something crazy
The Dell 24" is nice, but the reviewers haven't been too kind on the new generation. I'm a ***** to public opinion haha
