i'm not feeling the look of the exterior, still looks too awkward, especially in the rear. the interior though does look substantially nicer (i've always hated the orange colour scheme of the interior console/dash).

No really I mean come on, I dont think it flows at all, wtf is with the saber tooth in the front? wtf is going on with the side skirt? and the back in this shot reminds me of a bmw M hardtop, not feeling the little window on the sides, and the lights well im just lost.
I would never buy this over a 350z
the interior is cool

I like everything except for the back, the back is weird. The interior is definitely nice though. If for some absurd reason I decide to abandon my dream of owning an NSX, I'll prolly buy one of these next.

I think the 350Z is better looking.
But, it depends how low and wide this looks in person. IMO, a low and wide stance can make up for most body line monsterosities.
So if the 370Z is appreciably lower and wider than the 350Z, it will look better in person.

Like, when I see a Viper in photographs, I'm like meh, it's not that great. But everytime I see one on the streets, I'm like dayum! That thing looks great and has real presence amoungst the rest of traffic.

You’re right, you don’t want the 2011 looking like an 03, however at least try to make it look better, I’ve read many comments from people here on my350z and even though the 370 is liked, I feel there are more people that like the 350 design better, I don’t think that’s a smart move by Nissan.

Yea, I've definitely noticed that non-owners seem to like the redesign, but I think the original appealed to a specific type of people, and that's why we don't like the redesign.
I personally love how sharp and clean the G35 is, the 37 is so busy. The side profile of the 35 is a line, where as the 37 has this weird S curve. I do like the more aggressive front, but as soon as it's not dead on, and I see a little bit of the side, it kills it for me.
That's the part that I'm iffy on, the back on the other hand, is an unmitigated disaster. It's awful any way you slice it, from the trunk line being ruined, to the inner circles being cut off in the top portion like some amateur threw eyelids on, to the fugly chrome spoiler. Disaster.

the curves on the g37 flow well imo, at least compared to the 370z where you have jagged edges all over the place (including the weird pointy front and rear headlamps). and you can't go wrong with the GINORMOUS brakes on the g37

Ever since G35's came out, I thought they were the fugliest car on the street with their bug eyes. Even Subaru's bug eyes looked better.
But seeing so often, it has grown on me more. But I would still prefer the styling of the newer G35 sedan and G37. I personally love the headlight and grills.
