Default Good price for a Canadian Zr ?

I've been looking for quite some time to buy a Z but i did'nt had the time to do it . Now im on vacation and last night i just got off of the dealership and i was'nt totaly impress for the price and % rate they gave me .

It's a (new) 2007 350z roadster with around 140kms (road test)
all equiped w/o the GPS
the asking price right now is 46000$ (the nissan rebate 5500$ as been put in )
He told me that since i was getting the full rebate i was'nt eligible to get the special Nissan rate 5% ,but now he offered me 6.99%

2 of my friends told me it was a bit to much but well for me it's seemed not too bad

what are your thought on this one ?

I did look for an US 350z but i got cut off 3 times since they could'nt wait even with an deposit.
This one was the last on my list

the cash insentive is for "cash buying" which means low nissan financing % won't apply. The banks are offering a low rate this month of 6.9% all true.

they were private sale and one of them was an importator seller , he told me if he can sell it fast he would not wait for me to go in vacation to do the paperwork needed for it since he had a potential buyer , that was 2 weeks ago

soo now those i was looking are sold ,the canadian roadster was my last choice.

you might as well get a 08 for that money. When i have purchased my 07 ZR in june of 07 my intrest rate was 4.9% (because they had a special primotion) but still i ended up paying around 49,000 before tax (i have a fully loaded) but still 46k sounds like a ripe off considering that we are 2 weeks away from 08. you are going to purchase a brand new car and drive it as it is one year old, i wouldnt do it unless i get a rediculas discount.

if you ended up paying 49k w/o tx , thats maybe you got a really good deal since they were tagged at 57k in 2007 +you have the GPS thats 3k more. The dealer i went last night was asking 46k its still a 11k less that a full brand new ZR of the years for the same model.

sound like you got your ZR for the price of a coupe

beside the new year , on what eles could i play with to try to drop the price ?

You can't buy a new vehicle from the states anymore but I'd look for a slightly used 06 or 07.
I bought my Z from Pensylvania and got a great deal (2004.5 6,000 Miles on it, paid 23gs)

wow, the 350 is such a ripoff in Canada. The U.S. Price is like ~20k less.

i just picked mine up as well .. 46K is what i got as well.. and by far the cheapest deal around ON. (unless you wanted cash .. then you could get one for 43K) I did get the 3.9% though .. so im happy, since the 08 was 6.9 and 56K
