progressive as it was explained to me is that your spring in the default compression is at the lower end of the spring rate (316), and as the spring gets compressed it moves towards the higher/stiffer spring rate(421). This is generally achieved by winding the coils tigher near the top, making it harder to compress as the spring receives more force.

i've also been told that progressive makes it harder to "predict" what your car is going to do.

I do like them as an alternative to purchasing coilovers, which can get pricey.

My eibach's seem to be lower then 1". I did purchase mine used, so that may add to it.
I installed the springs early last summer.

Ride vs Stock,
I would have to say its much stiffer and provides a better "feel" for the road. IMO, the drop height is perfect.

Would I purchase them again?
Probably not, as I would want to get a proper Shock & Spring setup, or maybe make life easy and just purchase a set of quality Coilovers.
I tend to over think my purchases, so the springs were an easy compromise for me until I can decide on which setup to run.

You can probably get the eibachs from andy@performance for $150 shipped.. For that price you may as well run them until your shocks go, then purchase a set of quality coilovers.

its not always necessary to go with a coilover set up. (not everyone wants to drop 1300+) but i have to agree with (reality350) the gf210's are supposedly really good I hear nothing but good things.

i heard from someone now that the gf210 is to soft for the 06 and mainly made for the 03/4 and that had stiffer shocks. so with that low of a drop and the soft rates ill be on the bumpstops apparently.

anyone have these progress technology springs.....ill do a search lol

You said that the ride is a lot stiffer? As in, the handling is tighter, or the ride is much bumpier?

I didn't notice a large difference. So I wouldn't say much bumpier.

I would think that your shocks would go before the springs. You should be fine with the stock shocks and prokit for at least 2 years..

When compared to stock, yes its much stiffer. And yes the handling is much tighter, not so much "bumpier".
