Anyone here know where I can get a D35 yellow top for a good price in the GTA?

My Batt is dead.

 

In Canada I'm not sure, do you have Pep Boys there?
I believe Sears carries them also, if not many places online have them,
do a google search for dealers or go to Performance Nissan (mynismo.com)
or West Covina Nissan.

 

Thanks, I might try Wall Mart not excatly where one would normaly think to go for car parts but i read on another forum they have them.

i also need a new battery since mine won't hold a charge for more than 3 days. why the optima smasher? did it get good reviews?

 

Optimas are great batteries, however when they fully discharge they will never be the same from my experience. So don't let them die!

 

Just in case others want to buy one of these.

I emailed Optimabatteries and they got back to me right away as to where I could buy one.

Picked it up at Interstatebatteries here in Kitchener for $189.95 Its coded as a SC35DA.

If i have any problems with it I will let you know.

 

^^ why'd you buy it so soon? the season doesn't start for another month and half-ish and $189.95 sounds like MSRP pricing.

I thought it was a good price? I tried to haggle but thats the best price they would sell it for. Thought is was a good deal because some people were telling me if I can find one under 300 I would be doing good.

I was literally at Sam's Club a half hour ago to buy groceries and stopped by the Tires to take a look at their batteries.

Pricing for the Optima yellow tops (D35) were $163 + tax.

 

^^ Thats US so 189 CDN is not all that bad. only $26. diff.

Us Canadians are still getting ripped off in some places even though our dollar is on par.

Red top at Walmart was 209 CDN. They don't carry the yellows so the guy told me.

 

I picked mine up for about $153 CAD from a local Interstate dealer. I have a friend that works there.

Is the D35 revese terminal as our positive and negative is not normal.

 

Yes terminals match up with the stk Batt positions.
