for your bodyshop (THE CAR IMAGE) (905) 731-2999 ask for (KEN)
and for your mechanical shop (DEFCON) (905) 709-7744 ask for (patrick) I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. (tell them roman sent you and they will hook you up).

You are welcome to SpeedStar, our mechanic is pretty good. Not promoting my work place, but they did all the work on my Z. Come drop by, we carries any JDM parts you want...as long as its JDM we can get it. Plus all the staffs are so friendly especially Frank =P

i ***** my z out to pretty much any mechanic/shop out there, and i've been to both speedstar and ART (defcon) and both shops were very capable of taking care of my z.

^Speedstar's always busy. I've never gone through them because every time I try to do a walk-in, they're packed. I dont wanna make appointment either, because chances are, I wont keep be in time or follow it...

Aside from Preformance Mods, anyone have a good shop they use for maintenance, oil changes, etc... tired of going to the Stealership.

I personally use Speedstar, they take great care when working with or around our cars.
Great bunch of guys in general.

Or you can,
Pm, "edvy" - he owns a shop, you can ask if he performs basic maintenance

Or as gonein60sec's mentioned,
ART

ART (defcon) is really good like that. even if hes busy (patrick) and you wand something small like a oil change im sure he will put you in unlike some of the other shops, Which im sure are capable of doing al the work, its just that waiting all the time is a B ITCH

^Definitely.

Any work that I can't DIY, I go to simone. I went to him to get some brakes and SS lines installed as well as RBF600. Nothing major, but his services and attitude can't be beat. Not only that, he fixed my friend's Z after he went into a ditch and did an excellent job. I can't even tell the Z was even in an accident. Steve (one of the mechanic) does an excellent job fixing up the car. He's the only person to touch my Z and my MR2 (he's an ex MR2 owner as well).

Yeah... the apprentice thing scares me. Apparently it's really recent because I've never seen them before. My friend was telling me about it, but Vic gauranteed my friend's request that the apprentice would not touch his car. So that's good to know.

Forgot to mention, Luis has done some work on my car too and no complaints there either.
