There is no rust problem with the HKS exhaust, it's the crappy knock off X02 or whatever that's having the rust problems.

i personally like my aps 3" true-dual, but for na z's, i wouldn't suggest putting that exhaust on (you'll probably experience huge torque loss). out of your list, i really like the borla true-dual. i've heard one on my buddy's z and it sounds really mean.

The Stillen exhaust is quite heavy, and the Borla exhaust comes shipped in several pieces that should be welded together. I don't know if that influences your decision or not. I don't think you could get an HKS for that price.

I'll be parting out my car towards the end of the month and have a HKS exhaust if you're interested. Its practically brand new and you're more than welcome to come and have a listen to it.

Actually, you are not suppose to weld the Borla together. The clamps provide sufficient force for a good seal. I have one and there was no need to weld as it is bolt on.

you should try to locate some sound clips for the hks exhaust on a Z (try youtube), it's not really a fan-favourite for some z owners.

Check the HKS site. You can order new ones. Pretty cheap, about 160 bucks? If you are thinking about buying the X02 and sticking HKS tips on, it won't work. People have tried before.

The HKS is the original product from Japan. It uses high quality stainless steel and real burnt titanium tips.

The X02 is a reverse engineered copy of the HKS mnufactured in Taiwan using cheaper, lower quality materials. The metal is more prone to corrosion and the tips do not have the same lustre.

But for some reason, the HKS tips do not fit on the X02. There are several threads about people who tried this, but it does not work.
