So the goal of your 350Z meet is to make people jealous? It won't work, it's not an expensive car anymore. Kids with menial jobs drive them now. With that attitude and skill level in English the only thing you will be inspiring in others is annoyance.

It doesn't mean you can't love and be proud of your car. I really like my car a lot, but I know it's not making anyone green with envy. 6 years ago the Z was marketed as a sort of status car here in Canada, but with the equalization of the dollar, it's quickly taken on the same identity as it has in the States, which is a great bang for the buck sports car.
I'm happy with that, and with Z values plunging along with the rest of the used car market, I will likely be holding onto this Z for a very very long time.

Hey man,

We prefer locations with less heat.

Set it up and I am sure ppl will come out. Or you can just join in on the SBC meets.

Cheers,
R

We don't need to show the ricers in civics "what the faawk is good". In order to maintain the respect of the public, and avoid the ire of the police I would suggest staying away from those gatherings all together. Police "raid" ricer meets because they contain ricers acting like immature ricers before, during, and after the meets. You don't hear about police raiding other car meets because the owners are generally more mature and carry themselves in a way that isn't hazardous to the public. Why not just go to one of goneinsixtyseconds' "impromtu" meets in your neighbourhood as a start? We always have a few big meets throughout the summer, but we usually plan a cruise, or meet at one of our own spots such as SPEEDSTAR to avoid being associated with the ricer crowd.

With the "try and show-off" to make people jealous, or "show up the ricers" attitude you're really lumping yourself in with the people you are trying to upstage.

i'm not sure if we're having an impromptu meet this friday (which is why they're called "impromptu"), but so long as you leave the heat at home, you're welcome to join us.

Yes those impromptu meets are really well organized. Rich and the crew kicked me out from one of the meets cause I was too "hot" and brought the heat to the meet.
