got pulled over today.
have a US Z without a front license plate mount.
got my Ontario plates on Saturday.
explained the situation to the cop - its been 5 days since i got my plates and waiting on delivery for the front license plate mount.
also had the plate on the front dash.
cop wasn't very understanding.
not a moving violation, but still got a $110 ticket.
prolly the red sports car effect.

forgot to add the violation on the ticket reads:
fail to display two plates - motor vehicle
which obviously isn't true as the front plate was on the front dash.
nothing on how it has to be mounted.
i will be fighting the ticket.
what a waste of time and ruin my day.

exactly... not worth it at all! I ended up spending a lot just so the car looks a little cleaner without the plate... i put it back on after going to court dates and spending so much $$.
Definately not worth it.
Some people may get lucky by not getting pulled over. Maybe they don't drive the car much so the chances of getting a ticket are less, but eventually, cops will pull you over. BTW, markham cops are HORRIBLE!
