Oct 13th (Monday, Thanksgiving long weekend) - Mosport DDT Lapping event - (Driver Development Track)

hi All drivers,

We had a great success in last year and this year track lapping events. Now 2008hot season almost finishes, our 4th lapping @ Mosport DDT is coming on October 13th.



For this DDT lapping, it will be a great opportunity for newbies/beginners to bring your rides out (even your car is stock and running all season tires), we will have a longer warmup period on Oct 13th, and special setup for the newbies group.

I'm in... should be quite interesting. First time at a track and first real time driving my 350z.

 

try to find out how many people are signing up for this event

i have a feeling it's gonna be a lot of cars

 

which way are we lapping?..."counter clock-wise"?..either way, i'm going for the last track day of the season (for me).

Wow, what a great time. I saw about 3 other 350z's. The GT-R was pretty fast, looks great in the grey colour. Lots of scoobies, about 4 e46 M3's, a couple of porsches, a couple of Z4 M coupes, a couple of C5 Z06's, a cobra replica, Lotus elise (maybe an exige), lotus super 7, a few miata's and a bunch of other cars I am forgetting.

The track is fun when you're on the edge. No spins here but a few others had their share. So now to mods begin for me. Suspension, rims, tires are next for me.

Either way, thanks to Kevin for hosting this. It was a blast!

 

i saw 1 san marino z,,,that was you.....i was in a black one with greddy....i went out about 3~4 times....very crowded....but, super fun as usual.....i love the gtr. what a beast!!

 

 

yuppers that's me cooling it down after 5 laps on the rev limiter. That was me with the JIC ti single. What suspension are you running? And the GT-R was a beast indeed!!

my car is stock (including tires.....)...just pop charger & greddy exhaust. more parts are coming for next year.....can't wait for better tires....next time, i'll say hello.
the gtr is not a car...it's a train..will post some videos.....

 

+ i have a video of you coming out of the last corner following the cobra.....not sure if you want the video posted as the image shows too much info. (if you know what i mean) let me know if you want i may be able to e-mail it to you.

I'm looking for some good tires too, and probably some suspension upgrades. I'm hooked...

it's an addiction.......i'm not planning on suspension upgrade but, good tires make a big difference.....& brakes.

cool, no worries. Someone (Felix?) was working on getting pads put on his black 350z... there was a few of us there which was nice to see.
